Meet Chica ~ Soldiers Companion
"Chica is a stray dog who has accompanied soldiers from the last few rotations at a site here in Saudi Arabia. Chica is a huge moral booster and has helped a lot of people during our time here. She absolutely loves everyone she meets and of course belly rubs. Whenever anyone would show up she would come out of the shadows to greet everyone. As the sun would go down and it would get cooler throughout the day she would always be out looking for us to play with her. Walking to the bathroom she would follow you there and would wait outside until you came out and would walk back with you. She’s the sweetest dog and brings so much joy to every single person she met. I wish to bring her home because within the last couple of days they have tried to euthanize her. With so much push back from everybody in our company they have put a pause on that idea and giving us limited time to find an alternative. She deserves the best and I just can’t come to terms with anyone doing that to a dog like her. I would love to give her the best life she could ever dream of and let her live her life out worry free."
