Meet Khaleesi & her babies of Romania~Graywind, Summer, Shaggy dog, Nymeria & Lady~
"Hello! I am a solider on rotation in Romania and have made an unexpected connection. A very kind and gentle female had a litter of puppies. We call her Khaleesi! We have also named her pups after Game of Thrones characters (for all of the fans out there). In the evenings, soldiers of all types go to see the pups as a morale boost after a long day. We are far from family and far from our dogs back home. These pups have become part of our family here in Romania! We love them very much and want to help save them. Romania has an urgent stray dog problem. And unlike the U.S., it doesn’t have much of a shelter system set in place. I want to do my part in making the world a better place. The impact we will have by adopting one of these stray dogs and Khaleesi and her pups good homes is immeasurable. We will not only be saving their lives, but also giving them the best quality of life in a loving home! Every single dog is used to people thanks to good hearted American soldiers playing with them and loving on them every single day since birth. We have made a make shift dog house and feed them dog food and scraps. While we do this in good heart, it is not sustainable and these pups deserve better. Please consider contributing in any way to help us get these pups the life they deserve - one full of love, safety, and a forever home. "
"We have been taking care of Khaleesi (aka Willa) and her puppies while we are deployed here. They are adorable and we all are so in love with them. They are family and we could not leave them behind. They have brought so much joy to us and truly united us in our mission to keep them safe and fed. Please help us get them to the USA to our families. "
