One bun's rough start turns into a sweet ending...

 

 

 

This sweet little girl was reported to our abandonedrabbits.com page as injured and sitting in the same place outside a townhouse complex for several days. Ella Lee went and picked her up and canvassed the neighbourhood -- something we always do -- to try and get her story. Neighbours thought she lived in the area and said she was always loose along with her bunny friend, who had recently been killed by a car. We got this girl to the vet where she was diagnosed with a broken pelvis... One of the yards had a tiny cage in it, exposed to the elements. If that was her home, we didn't want her going back there. We contacted the BC SPCA who went to the residence, talked the owner into surrendering the bunny and then transferred her over to us.

We thank them so much for this effort!

 

She turned out to be a super sweet rabbit. Her injuries have been healing well and a bunny looking for a friend has already fallen in love with her...

It is through donations from our wonderful gang of followers like you that we continue to be able to help these mistreated buns. Our vet bill for this girl is $450 - Please donate if you can and share if you can't!
