Our funds have taken a hit with so many medical cases. The vet clinics we use have outstanding balances. No matter how we trim costs, certain things just need to be done.Those with severe medical problems need treatment; lifesaving surgery is not optional.

Florida Dachshund Rescue, Inc. (FLDR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization incorporated in 2003, comprised of experienced rescue people throughout Florida who share the same philosophies, goals and love of the dachshund breed.
FLDR is an all volunteer group that views its mission as rescue, rehabilitation and placement of rescued dachshunds into loving and permanent homes. We also provide education to the public on the dachshund breed, puppy mills and the importance of spay/neuter. When we educate people on proper animal care, we can help eliminate abuse and neglect.
As a non-profit organization, we rely on adoption donations received when a rescued dachshund is placed in a permanent home and on the generosity of the private and public sector for support.
