Hello Good People,

First let me introduce myself. I currently live in Medan, North Sumatra. Here I am also a neighbor with a cat lover, Mas Sarifu. As information in the environment around here many stray cats are abandoned. As a fellow cat lover, I always try to do my best to help them even if only by feeding them.Mas Sarifu along with his wife have also long adopted and cared for cats since we are friends. My daily work is just odd jobs, so it hasn't been optimal to help a lot . Here also there is one cat who suffers from illness and needs help from all good people.

The cat, named Bebe, has suffered from Vestibular disease, a lifelong disorder that has caused him to lose balance since he was a child. He was attacked by a large male cat that pierced his ear. He recovered after his first visit to the vet. But he then experienced swelling of the cheeks that grew bigger every day because he often banged his head every time he fell unbalanced. Sometimes he could not fully open his left eye because of the swelling. He might have a blood clot or water but we are not able to do a vet check at this time.

Besides Bebe, who was sick, there were still many cats that always came to our place asking for food, but unfortunately, they were still very thin and it was beyond our ability to take them to the vet because the price was quite expensive. Here I found about 20 cats left on the streets without help. Unfortunately, I saw several cats die because cars often crashed into them. Just yesterday, I saw a kitten that was born prematurely and died. I want to help them by building a shelter for them, so they can live in peace.

Future Plan

There used to be a pet shop that looked after stray cats. But now, the activity is stopped. Mas Sarifu's parents also help as many cats as they can. I want to help stray cats near where I live, so they have a better place to live. Mas Sarifu plans to make a cat shelter in the Tanjung Morawa area , because the place has a cheap rental price and is still fresh. I also know a veterinarian friend, I will contact to work together if this project goes well.

Details about the funds needed

We will use the funds to rent a place and all cat's needs such as cat food, grooming matters, and hiring labor. The total required is around USD 3000, but we will use USD 600 for urgent matters such as medicine or operating costs from existing savings.
