P.A.W.S. is at a breaking point. Our debt at our vets has exceeded 15000 euros and this are expenses done during the past 2 months! We never say no to injured and sick animals, we never turn our back to the ones most in need but we cannot do it anymore! We have no means of covering our monthly vet expenses, we have no way of raising money during this difficult time!
Due to the pandemic, all our events, the main source of our funds, were cancelled and nobody knows when things will resume to normal. Over 40 animals that were supposed to travel abroad, are still stuck in Cyprus as there are no flights at the moment. This adds up to the medical and food costs and our bills are mounting. To make things worse, some of our vets will not accept any animals from us unless we cover at least half of our debt by the end of the week (and we don't blame them!). At the moment we have two solutions:
A. Closing everything down and declare bankruptcy
B. Find a way to raise at least half of the vet expenses and try our best to continue with whatever resources we have
We hate asking for donations but we really are at a breaking point!!!! Our stress levels are over the roof, we have to refuse help to animals who really need it and we have no way of continuing like this!
PLEASE, we beg you to help us cover at least half of our vet expenses in order to be able to continue! We attach the credit balances of just two of our vets and we work with 10 all over Cyprus! If we don't pay at least a large sum of the money we owe, this is probably the end of P.A.W.S.
