Wilbur, like so many of the animals who call St. Fancis Farm home, came to us when his family had grown tired of caring for him. After a lifetime of loyalty he was dumped in a shelter in terrible condition, sick, blind and deaf he faced a cruel fate.
Thankfully we were able to provide him a safe haven, a place to call home and the chance to live out his days in comfort, with soft beds to lay on, loving care and the security of knowing he has a forever home.
Wilbur came to us with pneumonia, which he was able to fully recover from. Unfortunately, then we found a lipoma mass on his chest that restricted his movement and was quite painful for the little man. We got Wilbur his surgery as soon as possible, but much of it we had to pay for out of pocket.
He is doing much better since his much needed surgery. We need dedicated montly sponsors to ensure we can continue giving Wilbur all the love and care he needs.
Monthly sponsors will provide a steady stream of funds that ensures Wilbur can live the rest of his days happy and healthy here at the farm. Funds will go directly to his care for food, medical treatments, safe housing, and the love and care of our wonderful staff.
