Ukraine War Animals Relief Fund is a non-profit registered 501c3
in the USA and a non-profit society in Canada. In the past
year-and-a-half, we have spay/neutered, vaccinated or microchipped
7,750 animals impacted by the war.
We were forced to build a shelter because of the Russian
invasion of Ukraine. Over 1,000,000 dogs and cats were left behind
when Russians leveled villages and launched bombs, missiles and
drones. Under Kristyna's leadership we built a a no-kill dog shelter
where stray, abandoned and abused dogs get the best possible care
and medical attention until they are re-homed. 100% of them are
spay/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. We continually find new
homes for throughout safer areas in Ukraine and Europe. Because of
EU laws, we deliver these pets to their new homes at no charge.
Now, the shelter was nearly burned by a grass fire and the
animals could have been injured. Fortunately, the Shelter is run by
Krystina and Andrew assists her. Their quick action with the help of
one neighbor prevented this.
At any given time, we have between 70-90 dogs in our care.
This piece of land has been donated to us on which we will be
building our forever home.
We need your help to build more dog houses, renovate the house
so shelter staff can stay overnight to tend to the animals, build
fencing around the land, get heat in before winter and continue
promoting the importance of animal welfare in Ukraine. Please give

Abandoned pet dogs and cats in Ukraine's warzone need your help
In the months since the invasion of Ukraine, 8 million people had to flee their homes, leaving everything behind everything including their 1+ million beloved pets. A million of homeless cats and dogs are now without shelter, proper care, or protection. These abandoned animals roam the streets, facing hunger, disease, and an uncertain fate. Historically low sterilization and vaccination rates in Ukraine is already resulting in an exploding population of stray animals, and a looming rabies crisis which will impact entire communities for decades to come.

No large NGO is addressing this situation. The massive spread of rabies will not only kill innocent stray animals, but pose a deadly risk to returning families and especially children, who are most susceptible to this terrifying disease.
There is a solution
 | Ukraine War Animals Relief Fund (UWARF) is a registered charitable organization dedicated to providing veterinary services, including sterilization, vaccination, and microchipping, to address the urgent problem of unvaccinated and unsterilized abandoned pets in Ukraine. We are a network of citizens, mobilizing a dedicated team of veterinarians and volunteers to undertake a crucial mission.

To carry out this life-saving and urgent mission, we need to raise enough to cover the cost of veterinary supplies, clinic space, medical treatments, transportation and honorariums for the local volunteers who undertake the dangerous work of humanely capturing each animal for treatment.
