The shelter will blast a dog for rescue multiple times and if you see their photo more than once, it means their time is short.  

Her photo was blasted from the shelter last week and we really had to think about putting a hold on her....she was cute as cute can be, not even 5 pounds and her shelter records indicated "sweet puppy dragging real legs, possible spinal injury/trauma".

UUUUGGGHHHHHH.....what do we do with a puppy with spinal trauma? Do we say yes?

We make some hard decisions, almost daily, of who we can and can't help and breathed a sweet sigh of relief when we learned another rescue had placed a hold on her. 

PHEW....another rescue got her.  She is safe and another team can try and raise funds and manage care on a paralyzed puppy that may or may not regain her ability to walk.  SCORE.

And then, there she was being blasted again.  

The rescue that had the hold stood her up.

A puppy.  At Christmas. 

It was her 2nd blast.  She didn't have a lot of time left. 

She was so tiny and so dragging her legs behind her.  

CRAP. 

She is a long hair chi mix who would not be alive for too much longer without rescue.

We can't leave a paralyzed puppy in the shelter after another group stood her up at Christmas.

Jingle has been spung from the shelter and is headed to SEVN where she will be examined and imaging will determine if she has IVDD, some sort of infectious disease, or some other sort of trauma.

We know it is smack dab in the middle of all the holidays, but we couldn't leave her there and we are back on bended knee hoping that you think her life was worth saving too.
