Dachshund Rescue South Florida hasn't added a story.
Hello, My name is Daysi. The last week has been a rough one for me, but I am safe now and I am writing to ask your help for my puppies.
I was a Mom before and my family loved me through that process. I wasn't sure I wanted to have more puppies, but things happen, and just as I was getting ready to have my puppies, my Mom decided she didn't want me any more and started calling people and telling them I had to leave NOW.
I don't know what I did but she didn't love me anymore and kept asking people to take me away - preferably that day.
I heart hurt that my Mom didn't want me, but I couldn't think about that right then as I needed to focus on my puppies and make sure that I could keep them safe, although I had no idea how I was going to do that.
Who were these people that Mom was calling? Where was I going? Were they going to be good to me? Were they going to be good to my puppies? Would I get enough food there to make sure I could feed them?
I was so scared.
Suddenly, someone came for me. I didn't know who she was and I was afraid to go, but I tried to be brave as if my Mom didn't love me anymore, I had to stay strong for my puppies.
The lady who took me, gently put me in her car and patted my head and rubbed my belly and told me everything was going to be ok.
I wanted to believe her but I wasn't sure...
She took me to a new place that seemed like they had been waiting for me as there was a private place all set up - was it for me?
Before I even had a chance to get settled in, the puppies were ready to come and before I knew it, I was a Mom x 6! Please meet George, Astro, Elroy, Cogswell, Gazoo, and Judy.
I know we are in a safe place, but I know that it takes a lot to care for me and make sure that we all have enough to eat and enough pee pads to keep things clean and to make sure that my puppies can get the shots and vetting they need to make sure they never have to have puppies.
My Foster Mom is very nice to me and I don't want to take up too many resources as there are others here who are getting a chance to find a family that loves them too.
I asked my Foster Mom to take a picture of me and my puppies (I smiled real nice and tried to show how cute they are!) to ask your help to make sure we can cover everything we need so that these nice people can be ready to help another New Mom who needs a safe place to land.
Even $1 helps and I will keep sending pictures to show everyone what I good Mom I am!
Thank you for helping me when my family didn't want me or my puppies anymore- Love Daysi
