Leche found her way to our door after a hard life in desperate need of medical care.

She is a three year old little angel who came to our care with either huge masses or hernias on either side of her tummy.  Leche was originally seen by Dr. Bruce who after examining Leche referred her to LeadER when the masses were found to be potentially life threatening bi-lateral hernias.

We have no way of knowing how long Leche lived her life with two massive holes in her abdomen and how uncomfortable or painful her condition had to make getting around and day to day life, but we promised her those days would soon be a thing of the past.

Leche was seen by Dr. Rosainz at Leader who took some images of Leche's abdomen and everything was such a jumble in there, she had a consult from radiology read the scans too to ensure that Leche's surgical plan was as good as it could be.

Dr. Daubs performed the surgery to repair both hernias and by the time the entire procedure was completed Leche's small intestines, and parts of her uterus were put back where they belonged along with re-positioning the lining of her abdomen to keep it where it was supposed to be. 

We are expecting Leche to make a full recovery and we are back again to ask your support to make a miracle for a little one who had nowhere else to turn to get the care that they needed.
