He didn’t think he would have to be starting over again at 12 years old.  

His person passed away and someone stepped in to care for Kibry, but he needed more medical care than that person was able to provide and so this sweet senior gentleman found his way to our door.  

When Kirby arrived, it was obvious that he needed help and why we understood why the person caring for him was not able to provide the care he needed.  

Kirby’s back end has been wobbly for more than while and we are hopeful that some hyperbaric oxygen therapy will get his back all healed up.  

And then…there are Kirby’s teeth.

Kirby’s mouth is in desperate need of a dental. Years of tartar and dental disease have taken their toll, and those teeth are in need of a massive dental before they cause him even more pain and problems.

Kirby is under the care of Dr. Riff and her team at PAWS and our plan is to help his back, fix his mouth, get him comfortable — and give him the fresh start he deserves.

Kirby has already lost the person who was his whole world. We can’t change that part of his story.

But we can make sure the next chapter includes good medical care, a comfortable body, a clean and healthy mouth, and people who think he is worth it.
