So....we haven't even hardly caught our breath from our 17 dog intake a week and change ago, but these four dogs have been through a rough situation and needed a soft place to land.
These guys had a Dad who loved them very much and their Dad passed away tragically. Someone who loved their Dad (and them) just as much didn't want to see them go to a shelter and reached out to us to ask if we could help.
Their guardian angel is grieving herself and was beyond worried about what would happen to them. Rescue is not always just about helping the dogs - sometimes, rescue is about helping the people who love the dogs too.
We are up to our eyeballs in dogs and have them stashed in every nook and cranny we have, but we wanted to help the dogs and we also wanted to do what we could to take some small part of worry off their Guardian Angel's shoulders as she works through her loss.
And so, we made room, and one of our amazing volunteers came forward to help them all and drove for HOURS to get them and get them to us.
Tonight these 4 are resting comfortably at Dr. Bruce's Animal Hospital and we are back again, on bended knee, to ask your support to cover 4 More neuters, 4 rounds of vaccines/HW tests/Fecals, 4 sets of bloodwork and we have discovered one of them has heartworm.
You have given us SO much these last few weeks and we have fingers and paws crossed there might be a little bit more love left for 4 sweethearts who have lost their Dad to help them find their happily ever after.
