Dachshund Rescue South Florida hasn't added a story.

We know the conditions of the dogs we able to help from Puerto Rico, but sometimes when we see them in person it breaks our hearts and Royal is one of those cases.

Royal is just a pup, not even 5 months old, and is suffering from hydrocephalus. It is deadly without treatment and he had no chance of survival without advanced medical treatment.

The surgery to correct it is complex and expensive but we had to give him a chance. When we got to the airport this AM not only did we find a sweet baby boy with a head full of fluid, but suffering from a severe and painful case of mange as well.

He needed immediate medical attention to address the mange and so the Pambulance headed for LeadER Animal Hospital where he could be evaluated and then will be transferred to Southeat Veterinary Neurology for further treatment.

This is a big surgery for a little boy and we hope you feel the same that Royal deserves every chance at love and a wonderful life. Will you help us give him that chance?
