Bobby is one of the many, many dogs who have come to DRSF from Peurto Rico to start their lives over. He is all of 9 months old, and somehow in his short life suffered a massive fracture of his spine that broke it in two places.
We were hopeful that he would be a surgical candidate but after he saw the team at Southeast Veterinary Neurology, we learned that sadly he was not. Since we can not surgically fix his spine, we are doing the next best thing and turning to another amazing partner of ours at Eddie's Wheels who builds the best custom carts out there (and is very considerate to us with their pricing too!) and Bobby has been measured for his cart and it will be going to production this coming week.
Bobby's Foster Mom Debbie is giving him the home of his dreams and we are hopful that our DRSF family can help us cover the cost of his cart!
