It is our most feared injury and it is back again....the broken pelvis after being hit by a car. $7,000+ to repair and the dog looks fine. How do you fundraise for that?

We were called this afternoon after Valiant, a beautiful boy, only 2 years old, came into the shelter after being picked up on the streets, crying in pain, unable to bear weight on his back legs. 

The shelter staff guessed it was his pelvis and knew that rescue was his only way out or he would have to be put down. We are $10k light in our IVDD fund, but we crossed our fingers, said a prayer and took a leap of faith that our community would agree Valiant's life and his sweet eyes were worth that chance. 

Transport was arranged with our intake team heading out almost instantly as he needed urgent medical care. The LeadER team was put on notice that we were incoming and Dr Horgan was there to meet the transport. 

Poor Valiant cried in pain the entire way to Broward and he was in so much pain, he had to be sedated for x-rays that revealed both his pelvis and leg are badly broken 

We are back on the hook for a large amount of money to give Valiant the chance he deserves. Do you have a few dollars to spare to give him that chance?
