Every time we think we have seen it all, we learn that sadly, we have not, and given enough time, there is another dog right around the corner whose story, condition, and abuse will top anything we have ever seen before....meet Hollister <3

Earlier today, Hollister was alone in the Redlands, suffering from an injury the likes of which we have not seen in 8 years and over 2,000 dogs....someone, somewhere tied something around Hollister's stomach so tightly it cut the delicate skin under his abdomen.

In case that is not hard enought to think about, the cut was so deep, that Hollister's penis somehow made its way out of the hole, and due to a number of issues (entailing way more physiology than we want to go into), his penis got stuck and was not able to get back to where it should be.

If not for an amazing rescuer Ale, who works every day to feed and rescue dogs in the Redlands, nobody would have known about Hollister and his plight.  Thanks to the magic of Facebook, Ale posted his story asking for help, some amazing people came to gether to capture him, and Holliseter is now resting this evening under the care of Dr. Wemen and the team at Everglades Animal Hospital to restore his anatomy to where it should be.

Our feed has been way more graphic than we would have ever wanted it to 5 days into 2016, but these are the stories and conditions that these sweet souls come to us with, so we are back yet again to ask your support.
