It is shaping up to be a $10,000 weekend as we are not even 1/2 way to our goal for Kewpie, and we have welcomed Jersey, who has been rushed to Southeast Veterinary Neurology, and is now under the care of Dr. De Pompa in a life and death battle with an un-known neurological condition.

We are taking the moral high road on choosing not to share the details of how Jersey came to us as we hope that people actively, willingly choose to lie to lie directly to our faces because their back is against the wall and they want what is best for a dog, but the one thing we do know to be the truth it is that Jersey has more than likely been very sick, for a very long time before anyone advocated for her.

Jersey was dropped off at Dr. Bruce's Animal Hospital who immediately recognized that she needed immediate and specialized care.  She was transported to Miami to SEVN where the only way to determine what was causing her condition was to perform an MRI, collect blood and CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) for testing and provide supportive care of roughly $5,000 or immediately euthanize her to end her suffering.

Jersey had already been let down once by the people who she trusted to care for her and even though we are already out on a limb, we had to give her a chance and we need your help to be able to cover her treatment.
