Dachshund Rescue South Florida hasn't added a story.

Duke is very sick and had multiple things stacked against him (including being treated by a vet on probation) and he was going down hill fast. His family could no longer care for him and so his story went out across the internet where it came through DRSF's feed....we saw his story and knew who he was being treated by and had to get him out of there.

Our transport got to Hialeah and was stunned by what we found - a doxie who was so sick he could not stand, had not eaten in 4 days, and with a catheter in his NECK secured with non-medical tape.

We raced him back up to Broward to LeadER where he is being examined, the "neck catheter" removed, and running a panel of tests to determine what is going on with him.

Duke is a beautiful, young boy who deserves his 2nd chance and we ask your help this morning to help fund is care as with each dog we take with the others before not funded, our war chest gets more and more depleted.  If everyone gives just a little, we could fund ALL our dogs and keep making doxie dreams come true!  Thank you for your support!!!
