Cabot is a beautiful, red, senior, doxie boy whose body tells the story of a lifetime of neglect. DRSF came to know of Cabot months ago when a rescue in Puerto Rico reached out to us for help for him - he needed medical care for many things, among which was a broken snout, neutering, and a mouth full of rotten teeth.
It took WAY longer than we would have liked to be able to get this sweet boy to us, but Cabot made his way from San Juan to Miami and is now in the caring hands of DRSF and in need of some serious care to see what we can do to turn back the hands of time and give this sweet gent the chance to life the good life for as long as possible.
X-rays have revealed that along with a broken snout, Cabot is missing part of his jaw. He is in dire need of a dental to stop the infection from this teeth from being pumped through his body. Due to the condition of his head - including his head, jaw, and snout, Cabot will have his dental (and neutering!) at LeadER tomorrow.
The dogs keep coming and they are all so deserving of the kind of love and care only our community can provide. Do we have enough love left to give Cabot the chance he deserves at his happily ever after?
