Bentley - A2754708 had already ben blasted to the shelter's rescue partners once and given he was marked as a terrior and had MAJOR orthopedic injuries- broken leg AND broken pelvis. Both injuries are nearly impossible to fundraise for because you can't seen them. We crossed our fingers and hoped someone would step up for him as we are already out on a limb for Isabella, whose life we saved from pyometra, and when we saw Bentley blasted out again to the shelter's rescue partners we knew he didn't have any time left - we were his only way out.

It will likely be nearly impossible to cover his care because his injuries can't be seen and it will be major orthopedic surgery to put him back together.
Since 2009 we have said we would rather run the ship aground doing the right thing than turn away, so that is what we are doing. We placed our hold, and Bentley is starting his life over as Zenith and headed to LeadER.
