She was all alone on the streets, her tiny body working overtime to bring new life into the world and she was running out of time. A very pregnant little girl, scared and searching for a safe place, with no idea what to do next.

That’s when a call came to President Pam's cell phone, from an unexpected angel (from the Government in Dade County no less!)  who had seen this little girl and knew she needed help, and she needed it fast.

It wasn't one of our better moves, but President Pam jumped in the car, met up with another member of our team from Miami, they went to the area we had been told this little girl was, talked to some folks on the street not having any idea if they would be able to find her her not, but figured "at least we would have tried" and then it happened—they spotted her. Our Special Ops Team scooped her up gently, promising her she’d never be alone again.

This little girl is all belly and after a quick bath (as all Mom's to be should be treated like a Queen), once she made her way to Dr. Bruce, X-rays revealed what she had been carrying all on her own: seven tiny puppies, due any day now.

We have named her Prosecco but her journey has just begun - we are expecting 7 little, wiggly doxies within days and are hopeful you can help us provide all the supplies a New Mom will need.  

No mama should ever have to bring her babies into the world all alone and we have fingers and paws crossed that you will join our team to make sure that we can provide Prosecco everything she needs.  Your generosity will ensure that neither Prosecco, or any of her puppies, will every spend a day on the streets, alone, afraid, or in need of care.  Thank you!!!
