Trill was a black dog, at the shelter, with an injury, right before a hurricane. Not a favorable set of circumstance by any stretch of the imagination...
His chances of being adopted were slim to none (leaving only one other option...) but President Pam happened to be walking by Trill's cage while there to get another dog, he caught her eye, wagged his tail, tried to take a step toward her, faltered on an obviously injured leg and that was all it took.
Paperwork was processed, and he was in the Pambulance on his way to LeadER. Trill was now a Dachshund.
LeadER was put on notice they were incoming with a "dachshund" with a leg injury, road rash, and a bump on his noggin leading us to believe that Trill had been HBC (hit by car in rescue lingo...)
Trill needed help and had nobody but us to come for him. Do you have it in you to make one more miracle for us while we attempt to wait out this storm?
