This is Luna, the sweetest, and most cuddly Cane Corso on the planet!
She recently came to live with me and Stella, my other Cane Corso. I
was contacted by a guy in a Cane Corso group on Facebook that I’ve
been a member of for years. He stated that he’s a breeder and he had a
1.5 year old female who he was trying to rehome because he wouldn’t be
able to breed her. He said that he’d seen how well I care for Stella
from my posts, and wondered if I would be interested in taking her in?
The agreement was that he would hand her over, for free, but I would
need to get her spayed asap. When I drove 2 hours with Stella to go do
a meet and greet, he refused to allow it and insisted that I just take
her, and he all but tossed her into the back of my Jeep-no goodbyes or
anything! I knew then that I had to help this poor girl. This breed is
known for being sooo very attached to their humans and so I wondered
exactly how she had spent those first 18 months of her life with him.
He’s a truck driver and she’s TERRIFIED anytime a big truck drives by,
still.
Anyway, she’s an absolute LOVE BUG and she soaks up all
the love she’s shown! I took her to my regular vet to see about
getting her spayed and they explained that it would be quite costly
due to an ongoing infection she seemed to have had for awhile, among
other things. I spent $600 on just her presurgical workup, along with
$300 for the bloodwork they did. This left my savings a little lite,
unfortunately, and they said that the cost for the surgery, due to her
size and condition, would be around another $800 and that if I wait
more than 3 months then we’ll have to redo the bloodwork. She has a
surgical appointment booked for Nov 11th and I’m praying for a miracle
because I just don’t have all the money! I’m going to pray that God
will rain down blessings on any and all who donate to help sweet Luna.

or he won’t release her legally to me and I could face having to
return her!
