PetFundr Personal, Professional, and Enterprise are free to use with no subscription fees.

Our innovative pricing is designed to accomplish four things:

Give those caring for pets and animals the best crowdfunding for the lowest cost.

Give veterinarians a mechanism to help their clients and patients afford the best care.

Make it simple for all involved and more cost effective than financing or payment plans.

Ensure that we can continue to exist as a business, so we can keep offering free crowdfunding for pet care.

We are paid using one of the following models that providers can choose from:

Optional Tips

You only pay for your Stripe/PayPal fees and we ask your supporters for a top-up. If they do give us a top-up, we get paid. If they don’t, we still charge you nothing.

We charge you nothing.

Average* cost to you: 3.5%

Fee Recovery

We ask supporters to cover the 5% platform fee and your Stripe/PayPal fees on your behalf. They nearly always do, but if not then you cover the fees.

5% platform fee with fee recovery.

Average* cost to you: 1.5%

Flat Rate

We charge you 5% of the donation amount. Additionally, Stripe/PayPal charge their fees. We don’t ask your supporters for anything.

Average* cost to you: 8.5%

*Actual cost with all models is dependent on Stripe/PayPal fees, and with Flat Rate, amount of participation in fee recovery.

Which one should I choose?

I’m risk averse

The best plan for you is Optional Tips. With this plan you know that your only crowdfunding fees are going to be the Stripe/PayPal fees.

I want to get my fees as low as possible

You should consider the Fee Recovery plan. With this plan we ask your supporters to cover our fee and the Stripe/PayPal fees. More often than not they do, which means that your costs will end up being less than Optional Tips.

I don’t want supporters to be asked for anything extra.

The Not Free plan is for you. We won’t ask supporters for any additional funds to cover costs. This is still a cost effective plan for pet parents when compared to financing and payment plans.

Which do you recommend most and why?

The Nearly Free plan is always less expensive, this is the one we recommend.

Implementation

Veterinarians, rescues and animal welfare organizations are welcome to use our easy setup and free support to implement the solution for free. If you prefer to have us do it for you, we have reasonably priced implementation packages available.

Enterprise Edition Pricing

All of our pricing models apply to Enterprise Edition as well. We strongly recommend that Enterprise Edition clients avail themselves of our implementation support to ensure adoption, success, and payment flow optimization.
