There are only three months left to get through before Maine will be able to harvest it's own hay. Due to last years terrible drought, there is no hay left in Maine. It has been an anxiety-ridden time for anyone who has farm animals. Sadly, many folks have had to rehome their animals due to this terrible shortage and increased expense. Hay is being brought over from Canada and out west and has more than doubled in price. What used to be $5 dollars a bale is now $12.50 (we go through 4 a day.) On top of that, there are no small square bales left to be had. The only hay available is in huge, 700lbs "big bales" that require loading via a tractor and even that is often many hours away. We are excited to have just been able to secure enough hay to get us through the remainder of the year when hopefully, things will be back to normal - AND THEY CAN DELIVER! We don't want to miss out on this amazing chance as we are down to our last few bales that were purchased over the winter. Can you please help?
