Meeeow!! My name is Lili and I am an 8 month old beautiful and very sweet long hair cat. Sadly, when the Romeoville Humane Society took me in, I was found to be heavily pregnant. Babies having babies I guess:( Well, not long after I arrived at my amazing foster home I went into labor. I tried really hard and pushed when I was supposed to, but despite all my best efforts, after an hour of pushing with my little kitten's tail visible they decided it was time I needed some help! They took me to the emergency vet at Animal Care Center of Plainfield, where they decided that my kitten was indeed stuck in the birth canal and I needed a c-section to deliver him and the rest of my babies safely. They feared that the baby who was stuck wouldn't make it, but everything went great! They were able to deliver all three of my babies and EVERYONE made it out happy and healthy! Once the kittens were delivered it was plain to see that they were on the hefty side and considering that I am an older kitten myself, I would have had a hard time delivering them by myself. I am thankful that there are veterinarians who work overnight! I am also thankful that the Romeoville Humane Society acted quickly and got me the help that I needed. I was wondering if you would be willing to help by donating to my costly c-section surgery? Any amount you can give helps! Thank you for your support.
