Jossie is a sweet adult dog from Guatemala. Rescued from the streets and currently living at a shelter. She suffered an injury on her cervical vertebrae and couldn't walk on her own (see video). It is not known what happened.
Her outlook was not very positive. As you can see on the video she couldn't stand and was very disoriented. She just laid on the floor and couldn't control going to the bathroom.
Fortunately, the vet was very forward-thinking and suggested neural therapy for several weeks. She also had to be hospitalized to be monitored and assisted often. Miraculously this little girl started walking and improving every day. She is almost back to 100%. Her vet bill however is very high and we are helping to raise part of it - $500.
