#GivingTuesday is the global day of generosity, a day when everyone has the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. In 2024, Animal AWARE invites you to collaborate in our fundraising efforts to provide vaccines and medications for our animals. Your support is essential to continue our rescue work and to care for the health of all the dogs and cats that are part of the AWARE family.
With your help, we will be able to purchase vaccines for all the shelter dogs, protecting them from two serious diseases: parvovirus and distemper. We will also buy antibiotics, hydrogen peroxide, chlorhexidine, and other daily-use medications. Additionally, we’ll be able to acquire special medications for some of our animals. For instance, Madre has hypothyroidism and needs daily levothyroxine; Julie suffers from seizures, so she receives daily medication to prevent them.
To make this fundraising possible, we have the support of People Saving Animals, an organization that helps us cover veterinary services for our animals.
