Hello!
My friend and I rescued this dog who was abused and left to die by my next door neighbor.
His situation was dire, he was extremely emaciated and traumatized, left alone for 3 weeks in a hot apartment with no food or water in sight.
My friend nursed him back to health, vet did blood labs that came back good,. he was doing great... and we were looking for someone to adopt him... Unfortunately on a walk, he ate something that perforated his intestines and did extensive damage.
He had to have immediate surgery and have 6 inches of his intestines removed.
The vet bill is $10,285!
This was obviously an unexpected event and my friend ended up paying the full bill and is beyond stressed.
Her and I simply do not have the funds, so we're asking anyone to help if they can! He's a super sweet, smart dog and we couldn't just put him down after all he'd been through, due to money.
Anything is much appreciated!
I also have complete documentation of the billing and vet hospital. ❤️
