My sweet 6 month-old Irish Wolfhound puppy, Pinja, has been diagnosed with elbow dysplasia, a painful, crippling disorder that, without surgery, will greatly impact her future quality of life. She will mature into a huge, beautiful hound of the gentlest temperament and does not deserve a future full of suffering. I’m a senior, still working at 77, and living on a limited income. Like you, I will do anything for my beloved dogs. While I’ve been able to save $2000 toward the $4800 surgery by a board certified orthopedist, I have just suffered a heart attack that will cripple me with medical co-payments. This effectively curtails my ability to make up the additional $2800 for Pinja’s time sensitive surgery, hence my appealing to those of you who understand the unquestioned love a dog brings to your life and family and to contribute whatever you can towards allowing my girl to enjoy a pain free future. There aren’t enough words to convey how much Pinja means to me, nor the gratitude I will feel to those of you who can help. Thank you with all my ❤️ ☘️
