Meet Jaxson, he’s a 8 month old pitbull with a huge personality and some major problems. Jax is a smart boy but he also has a severe problem with overstimulation. When jax gets overstimulated he bites. He’s not biting out of aggression he’s biting because he doesn’t know what to do when he gets excited. I have hired in home trainers and have worked with them with little success, I have spent over $1000 on trainers to try and improve the problem but it is not working and he continues to bite. He bites everyone in my house hold and anyone that he meets bc he gets so exited and doesn’t know what else to do. I have been bit up multiple times and so have my teenage children. A big concern for me is that I have a special needs daughter that does not walk and I can not risk her safety with jax growing bigger and stranger. We have come to the point where although jax is not acting out of aggression we are left with two options 1- euthanasia, we will have to put jax down before he seriously hurst someone 2- we found a board and train center to send jax too where he can get one on one help with his problem, they will help reform him so he can continue living his best dog life. They offer specialized training in bite control and figuring out the root to his problem and giving him solutions to better ways of dealing with the overstimulation. I don’t like asking for help and I know it’s a huge ask form people I don’t know but your contributions could help save our family pet. I work a 9-5 and have 3 teen age children my youngest who has special needs, I am like all of you trying my best to carry the world on my shoulders but with your help kindness and generosity you can help make my home a safe place to live again and save a puppy that just needs a little extra support to live the life he deserves to live.
