Hello! My name is Lindsey Payne and I'm raising funds to help my newest rescue dog, Tobey!

We found Tobey in the beginning of March while on the way to the gym. He was limping and when we drove by I noticed his leg was broken and missing a large piece of muscle. I went back home and got some food, water and a leash. My niece and I were able to get him and placed him in our car.

My previous employer, Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation graciously approved to take him in for me. At the time, I didn't have the funds for his veterinary care and wanted like him to get help immediately. 

Vet staff found that he had been shot (buck shots) in both legs and is in need to amputate his rear right leg.

Since finding him, we have visited Tobey (recently named) a few times and are getting updates from the vet as we can. They are looking at alternatives, in the case that he doesn't need amputation. 

Funds raised will be donated to Wildlife Rescue for their help with Tobey, his procedure, as well as to help his recovery afterwards once he is in my care. At this time, I don't know the exact amount for his procedure, so it may be adjusted. 

Tobey is a sweet boy and he doesn't let his leg get in the way of his fun! He has so much energy! Tobey will be a single pup in our home and I will focus on providing him what he needs for a complete recovery.

For those who don't know me, all of my pups, have been rescues right off the street and I always try to do my best by them. And it breaks my heart I can't immediately fund these emergencies and procedures as I'd like. I'm still paying off previous vet bills for my past babies. This will help tremendously and give Tobey a chance for a full and healthy life.
