🎉 BIRTHDAY FUNDRAISER 2026 🎉

Another year, another birthday and once again, my birthday wish is to help as many dogs as possible.

This year marks 6 years of volunteering at the shelter where all this started and 3 years of also volunteering at a municipal pound, where I’ve seen a side of animal welfare that is difficult to put into words: the neglect, the ignorance, the overcrowding, the constant flow of new dogs and puppies and the heartbreaking reality that these dogs would be doomed if it weren’t for the few people who care enough to fight for them and do everything they can to get them out.

Six years of walks, photos, videos, dog bios, social media posts, adoptions, volunteer coordination, airport trips, paperwork, emergencies, heartbreak, happy endings and everything in between behind the scenes.

But most of all, six years of getting to know the dogs.

The terrified ones who slowly learn to trust. The overlooked ones who finally find their people. The dogs who have waited for months, sometimes years, for someone to see them.

I’ve celebrated countless adoptions, cried over the ones we couldn’t save and watched dogs completely transform when someone finally gave them a chance.

And through all of this, one thing has become very clear to me:

There is always another dog who needs help.

A dog needing emergency surgery. Life-saving medical treatment. Medication. Recovery care. Or sometimes simply the opportunity to leave the shelter and go into foster care, where they can finally decompress, be seen and have a real chance at finding a home.

That’s why I’d love to raise funds that can be used wherever they are needed most, to help give these dogs the care, support and second chances they deserve.
