We are the McAllister family—Eric, Trent, and Clover—three passionate advocates from Tucson, Arizona. We have poured our savings, our time, and our hearts into Pause for Paws, a sanctuary dedicated to giving abandoned and vulnerable animals the safe haven they deserve.

Every day, shelters across the country face heartbreaking choices. Too many animals are left behind, and too many lives are lost. We refuse to accept this reality. Pause for Paws is our answer—a place where rescue meets compassion, where every animal finds refuge, and where hope is more than just a word.
