Please help, 3 homeless cats need help with veterinarian cost!
- Hi, my name is Melissa and I am trying to raise veterinarian money for 3 cats, that have shown up at my house, one by one. First the long hair, orange one, with double paws on all feet, that we named Miso, came strolling into our lives. He looked thin and tired, covered in fleas and ticks, scars and scratches from past fights, but just wanting some human affection and care. We gave him food and water and I put flea treatment on him. The next day I started calling any organization I could find to see if they could help, only to be directed to a voicemail or told there was no funding. Skip to a week forward and suddenly Miso was showing up with a friend/brother in tow, this fella was a short-haired orange cat with deep orange eyes that we named Magma, or Maggie for short. He was in just as rough shape as his brother, but not as willing to allow us to get close to him. We won him over by moving slow and showing him we weren't going to hurt him. I was able to get a flea treatment on him and pull off some ticks before he became too anxious and had to hide for a bit. Food and patience was all this boy needed to realise he could lounge around us without fear. Fast forward another 2 weeks and our first furry friend, Miso, decided to give us one more mouth to feed and directed his sister to the bounty he had found. This dainty little girl was grey and orange with the brightest orange eyes I have seen. She was tiny compared to her brothers but not shy at all. She has no problem hopping into an open lap and curling into a purring, little ball. We want to to bring these guys to the vet to have a physical done as well as be neutered/spayed, but unfortunately do not have the funds to do it. They are bonded set of three, so we do not want to separate them, and have hopes that if they have already been fixed and vetted, they will have a greater chance of finding their perfect forever home!
