Friends, we are pensioners, we live in a military zone with Russia in Kharkov, Ukraine. From the first days of the war (02/24/22), we had to rescue and feed hundreds of abandoned animals that were not used to living on the street. Volunteers from Lithuania, Germany, and Georgia helped us - they brought food and medicine. During this time, we managed to place about 60 animals into families. Today we have 34 cats and 4 dogs. Many have health problems (there are patients with chronic diseases, Leukemia, FIP, kidney disease, liver disease, intestinal disease...) We were unable to save some pets. We love them and are afraid of losing them. They were able to survive the explosions of Missiles and shells dropped on our city by the barbarians of Russia, but they themselves will not be able to overcome the diseases if they are not cured in time. Therefore, there was an urgent need to examine all our pets (take tests, ultrasound....), for this we need 3750 Euros\Dolars. Unfortunately, apart from pensions, we have no other income (that’s 130 euros per month for two people), which is not enough to solve this problem.
Therefore, we will be grateful to any amount and type of cooperation with those who want to help us, care for and save animals in need and want to become friends, guardians or nominal parents for them.
