Olivia is a 16 and a half year old Seal Point Siamese, and my absolute best friend and emotional support animal. She is the center of the household, the glue that binds our cat family, and mama to all. She is currently in need of a dental extraction for at least one tooth suffering from FORL.

I had another of my senior cats in for $1700 dental surgery last year and that exhausted my savings for medical emergencies that I have not been able to replenish yet.

I am a former animal shelter worker and I have cared for so many animals in need over a nearly ten year career that left me mentally drained, emotionally distressed and burnt out.

I have a two cats with chronic health issues including Olivia. All of my cats receive routine care, regular check ups, necessary medications (I have another who has epilepsy who requires regular veterinary care), specialty diets (my epileptic cat also has urinary issues), but I find myself in a position where I just don't have the approximately $1600 for her dental surgery. This will be her second dental surgery and the first time I have ever attempted crowdfunding.

She recently had her annual exam with a full blood work up that showed she is in excellent health for her age with no abnormalities or indicators of underlying health issues.

I deal with a number of mental health conditions, have been in some bad situations in my life, and Olivia has been my only constant for 16+ years. I am carrying such a weight of guilt for my Neevee and seeing her in pain is absolutely breaking my heart. Aside from her tooth she is in excellent health and I know I can have more years with her, but she deserves for them to be pain free.
