Fito is a young pup rescued from the streets of Guatemala with both femurs fractured. Once our partner group was notified they brought Fito to the vet immediately for evaluation.
The vet confirmed surgery with orthopedic implants on both legs was the only option to save his legs and offer Fito a normal life. Fito underwent surgery and is doing his part to recover.
It has been an ordeal and a hard process. Certainly not the cheapest option but we couldn't let Fito die. We are helping raise $650 which is a fraction of the total bill (the group in Guatemala is raising the rest).
