Animal rescue loses kennel space... mountain of boarding and vet bills piled up over $10,000!

In O ctober 2023 Memphis Street Animal Rescue lost the kennel space they had been operating with volunteer staffing due to barking complaints from neighboring tenants.  They were only given 10 days notice to vacate the building in order to retain their security deposit.  Some fosters were located however several dogs and cats had to be placed in boarding.  The cost of boarding is significantly higher than a volunteer run kennel so this completely blew their itsy bitsy annual budget as a brand new non profit organization with no government or grant funding in place.  They have worked hard to grow their foster base in order to still intake animals however finding medium to large dog fosters in their local area is next to impossible.  They have 4 dogs still in boarding and are on intake hold for dogs over 25lbs unless a foster is located or until their bill debt is significantly paid down.  Between vet care bills and boarding bills as of 2/1/2024 the total unpaid bill at their main vet is sitting at $10,29422 and growing daily.  Please consider helping this growing rescue by donating towards their bill with Alta Vista Animal Hospital in Tulsa, OK so that they can continue to do good works in the community.
