Dear Friends and Animal Lovers,
Our dear friend Katie is going through an incredibly tough time. Her beloved emotional support animal, Lucky, recently passed away unexpectedly and traumatically due to Addison's disease, a rare and devastating condition in dogs. Lucky was not just a pet, but a vital source of comfort and support for Katie, bringing joy and unconditional love into her life every single day.
To honor Lucky's memory and to help Katie during this challenging time, we are raising funds for two main purposes:
- Covering Medical Expenses: Katie has incurred a very significant veterinary bill in the effort to diagnose and save her precious life. These expenses have placed a heavy financial burden on her.
- Supporting Research and Awareness: We want to contribute to organizations and research dedicated to understanding and combatting Addison's disease in dogs. By raising awareness, we hope to prevent other families from experiencing the same heartache.
