Hello, this is our Mr Dipper! He's an English lop and this little big guy is barely two and a half.  He's standing politely like that because he's asking for your help!

A little under a week ago we noticed a small bump under his chin and within an hour it had swelled and hardened until it was the size of a large golf ball! 

We took him over to our local vet at top speed and waited, biting our nails to hear what was going on! it turns out he has an abscess under his jaw which has gotten infected. 

The lovely workers at Orchard Park Vet saw us quickly and did a great job draining what they could but he still has a lump and is going to need surgery to make a full recovery. 

his sudden medical needs had already stretched things and although with the help of some family we were able to get it done his surgery is far more than we can handle and that's not even including the  cost of taking time off work to take him to his appointments and give him at home care.

Your help would mean getting him the surgery sooner and would lessen the time he needs to endure the discomfort and pain. DIpper is currently drinking and eating, although with some  difficulty. He is still doing okay and we'd like to get this done before any of that changes.
