Ava is an especially loving cuddle monster! She is actually one of The Samadhi Legacy rescues. She was rescued in the nick of time before being dragged to be euthanized. What crime did she commit to be killed? Her only crime was that she was taking up space. As new dogs arrive at the shelters, dogs there for too long are killed. That's the sad fact of a homeless pet in a kill shelter.
Her only hope was rescue, and rescue her we did! Ava is about three years old and a natural comedian who keeps her family in fits of laughter everyday.
Yes, you guessed it we found Ava a furever home.She was one of the lucky ones rescued from Riverside kill shelter, and now in a loving family of her own. She has one fur brother and two human brothers. Life should be perfect for her. It is always gut wrenching when all is going so well and suddenly it goes so very, very wrong.
Ava is sick and she has a blocked intestine. Without surgery death is certain.
Her distraught family rushed her to the vet, emptied their wallets and maxed out their cards. But it's not enough. There is still $2000 to pay from the $2800 bill.Samadhi Legacy dogs are forever under our protection. This bill is a huge burden to us and will absolutely effect another a life that we could have saved. We cannot let ourselves get into huge debt. That would be irresponsible and is how many rescues fail. We must not fail. We have too many dogs under our care so we are asking you for help.Yes Ava has a home and Ava has a family but, rescue continues well after a dog is out of the shelter.
