Meet Buck. 

He is approximately 4 years old. 

Buck dug a hole under his fence and escaped.

Buck was hit by a car.

Numerous attempts to set his leg back into place have failed. He is currently on pain medication. Our next option is surgery. 

Buck previously belonged to a family friend. He is a younger man that has too much on his plate to be able to afford continued care for Buck. It was a heartfelt quick decision. Instead of Buck going to a shelter, my family has stepped in. We have decided to put a 'call out for help.'  

Buck is not a furbaby we planned on having. Due to certain circumstances, funds are super tight. 

I will be able to manage a $1500 surgery. This is where they would shave part of his hip away. Our 16 yr old son Leland, who would like to keep Buck, would like me to push for a hip replacement.

 I simply CANNOT afford a $5000 surgery at this time. I will contribute my $1500 to his goal of $3500. = $5500 for the total surgery. 

I think Buck would appreciate a new hip and becoming a permanent addition to the family. 

Our animals are well cared for and vetted at Flinn Veterinary Clinic in Sidney, Ohio.  (In case you want to ask about Buck's hip) They will not be preforming the surgery. This is a larger procedure than their establishment offers.
