My name is François and I’m the proud human of Pico, a sweet and playful 13-year-old chihuahua with a heart of gold. Pico became part of my life when he was 8 and a half, and he’s been my constant companion ever since.
When I adopted Pico, he already had a condition called Cherry Eye, which causes a visible swelling in his eye and can lead to discomfort and irritation. While he’s been such a trooper living with it all these years, it’s finally time to address it with surgery to ensure his comfort and quality of life in his golden years.
Why this surgery is important:
The Cherry Eye affects Pico’s daily life, making his eye irritated and uncomfortable. My veterinarian has recommended surgery to repair the issue, but the costs are significant and beyond what I can manage alone.
The estimated cost:
