Sammy, the abandoned paper cat, suffered from malignant stomatitis, and was found with fluid oozing out of his body throughout his wounds (Sammy may have been bitten by a dog), and his mouth hung thick with yellow drool, and he was skinny and bony. Due to his poor health, he was then taken to the emergency veterinary clinic. However Sammy's oral condition was getting worse and worse and the vet recommended a full mouth extraction and he had growths in the root of his tongue ulcers on the underside of his tongue. And on further examination it was confirmed that he was diabetic... As well as being diabetic, his blood lipids were very high and Sammy required 441 and insulin injections, and the vet decided that his appetite, mental state and immune system would become increasingly overwhelmed and that he could easily break out with ringworm secondary to the disease all over his body...
