We've had some recent expenses and have more coming up and could really use any help we can get.
First, Fancee has another mast cell tumor that needs removed and another that appears fatty, but the vet suggests removing as it is so close to the mast cell. The cost is estimated at $350
Second, we have little Miss Poppy (Reign) who climbed on top of the table and was able to reach and get into some prescription meds. Irene had no clue what the meds were as she chewed the label, so she and Molly had to be taken to the vet to induce vomiting. Thankfully it was only Amoxicillian and the dogs are fine. That cost was $300.
Third we have Aunt Clara (kitty) who needed to be retested for Feline Leukemia (FeLv) and FIV. She unfortunately tested positive for both on a snap test in November 2020, but then fortunately negative for FeLv on a PCR, a more in depth test that is sent to an outside lab. The vet advised us to repeat the test in 6 months. We did that on August 31. Unfortunately she still tests positive for both on the snap test. We're still waiting on the results of the PCR. Even if it's negative we need answers as to why one test says positive and one says negative for FeLv. Ultimately she is positive for FIV, which is the lesser of the 2 evils. Her latest bill was $126.00
Last we have Rowdy, the dog whose dad was renting him a hotel room before coming to BTN, because his soon to be ex wife threw Rowdy out of the only home he knew. Kevin is renting a place that does not allow animals and his lease isn't up until December. Kevin wants nothing more than to keep Rowdy so we decided to help him do just that. Kevin had been paying the full cost of Rowdy's boarding up until about a month or so ago. We had told him we could help if it became too much. Kevin really stepped up and has done right by his dog. But he now needs some help. That cost is $87.50 per week.
As you can see, we've been hit with several expenses all at once and are extremely low on funds. We would appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks so much
