Hey friends, fam, and animal lovers!
I’ve just started a
fundraiser for our rescued dog Runner aka Diesel. ON THURSDAY WE START
OUR BATTLE WITH HEARTWORMS!! 💔🤺
for those of you that don’t
know I brought this guy home after he was saved and brought to us from
Clayton Animal Control Shelter of Georgia. We still have yet to find
him a furrever home!
Upon his vetting he came back heartworm
strong positive, & on top of it just being a ruff time for
shelters, rescues, fosters, with sooo many furrbabies needing good
homes, I feel him coming back with heartworms is just another
hindrance in finding him a good home, and also TERRIBLE for him to
have to live with, but we are getting it taken care of!
He
completed the antibiotics phase, has been on his rest period through
May.
Payment for the treatment is due in full on Thursday and he
will be taken care of no matter what, but I’d be so grateful for a
little help!
I’m so happy to have this sweet boy with me,
especially given that had he ended up at a shelter with a positive
heartworm test he very likely would’ve been euthanized by now.
& I will continue to care for him until I find him the
loving home he deserves, if you find it in your heart to help me out
with this baby in the battle to free his heart from these little devil
wormies it’ll be soooo appreciated!
