I am reaching out today with a heavy heart but a lot of hope for a sweet, beautiful, and incredibly loving 1.5-year-old pup who desperately needs a miracle.
Recently, Monkey was subjected to horrific neglect—left entirely alone with no food or water for three painful weeks before being taken to the pound. By a twist of fate, he was brought back to me at my apartment, and I knew I couldn’t turn my back on him. Despite everything he has been through, his spirit isn't broken. He is still the most affectionate, gentle boy, but his body is suffering.
The Current Situation
I immediately took him to the vet to get him checked out. The neglect has taken a massive toll on his health. He is currently fighting:
Severe, painful infections in both ears
Widespread skin infections from the conditions he was kept in
Other health complications that require urgent diagnostic testing
How Your Donation Helps
The vet bills are mounting quickly. Just the starting cost for his initial bloodwork, diagnostic tests, and his first round of heavy-duty antibiotics is $700. This doesn't include the follow-up care, specialized medicated baths, or potential treatments he will need once his test results come back.
I am determined to give this beautiful boy the safe, healthy, and happy life he deserves, but I cannot do it alone. 100% of the funds raised here will go directly to Monkey's veterinary care, medications, and rehabilitation.
