I never thought my heart could be so completely wrapped around a tiny creature… but then Echo came into my life.

He’s only one year and one month old – just a baby. My sweet, affectionate boy with the gentlest soul. He chirps when he sees me, follows me from room to room, and curls up next to me like he knows he’s home. He is home. And I’m his mama.

Right now, Echo is in unbearable pain, and I’ve never felt so helpless.

He’s suffering from a life-threatening urethral blockage – a painful and potentially deadly condition that came on suddenly. He’s straining to go, crying out softly, and looking up at me with eyes I can’t forget. The vet told me the truth I wasn’t ready to hear: Echo needs surgery right away, or he won’t make it.

This experience has changed me forever. I’m a first-time cat mom, and I didn’t know it was possible to feel this kind of fear and heartbreak. He’s not just a pet—he’s my child. And I would give anything to take his pain away.

I’ve already used everything I have to get him seen and stabilized, but I simply can’t afford the full cost of surgery, hospitalization, and post-op care on my own. The estimate is more than I ever expected, and the clock is ticking.
